Less than 14% of the small animal veterinary facilities in the U.S. are accreditted members. Hospital membership signifies a commitment to excellence and is only available to those veterinary hospitals that subscribe and meet the high standards for medical practice established by AAHA®.
Evidence of compliance with the associations standards is determined by periodic on-site evaluations by AAHA® inspectors. Standards include those for facilities record keeping, house keeping, quality medical and surgical care.
